The title can sometimes be ironic, given the everyday perception of the United States and it socioeconomic, political, and mundane viewpoints of society at large. An honest and deliberate attempt at the vantage point of the every man (or woman) in America. Still a bold attempt at something that isn't very bold in American culture anymore.
