life moves pretty fast and if you don't look around you could miss it
As much as I haven't wanted to admit, I want a better life than I already lead. Not money, but something more to worry and care about. To make a life worth something. To provide a legacy, or importance into the future, and know that I do mean something in life, and after, to people. I only mourn people when they meant something in my own life. I don't feel that I have accomplished that yet in my life, and I need and want to. My love of baseball and history needs to be pressed upon, and enjoyed by someone else in order for my life to be meaningful to more than a small group of people. I don't need religion to lead my life, but instead to live life to the fullest abilities available and hope that I have the right attitude all along, no matter the hurdles involved. Ferris was right, if you don't look, the opportunities will be gone. Nobody, in my opinion, is poor in life, its the attitudes that make you poor. Optimism and realization that life isn't always fair are good steps to leading a good and prosperous life that can be admired.

intellectual socialological experiments
Some 4 or five years ago I re-subscribed to Maxim magazine and haven't thought it was worth a damn for the last 3 years. I still get the magazine in my mailbox and usually skim through it quickly then toss it aside. I understand my role in being a subscriber for advertising reasons. I don't pay but I am given the free issues nonetheless. I did find this month's issue to actually have a great profile of a group called improveverywhere.com. Check them out as I did. I'll embed my favorite prank they have done so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Nbkbss7i5s. I promise you'll enjoy the concept.

Medal of Honor
Any history buff will tell you that the medal of honor is esteemed and worth praise by anyone. During my travel to Hawaii in 2005 I visited the punchbowl cemetery and admired the military dead from the pacific theaters of war. What I most admired was how many Medal of Honor recipients died while covering grenades to save fellow soldiers. An incredible and unimaginable act of bravery knowing the face of death would occur. What I have seen since for this honor is that only 5 military men have received this honor, all posthumously. When a Bradley Kasal and Rafeal Peralta don't receive this honor for doing the exact same thing, I wonder what is wrong with the system of awards. Bradley Kasal rolled over on a grenade and barely survived. Rafeal Peralta did the same and didn't survive. The 5 men who have received the medal of honor deserve it, but I wonder how select we are being, given that two other men that I know of have done the same thing without the same recognition of bravery and love of country.

That is way I feel, the song is perfect, except for being dead.
